Hello- first of all LOVE LOVE LOVE the program, much thanks!
Now then, as to the subject: since the latest update, Krakli's Cygnus SF doesn't load; the error window reads

Error while loading plugin
System Error. Code: 123.
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect

I tried closing LP, deleting the dll, replacing it with a freshly downloaded copy from Krakli, and restarting LP, but no go; not sure
why LP no likey Cygnus anymore, but figured letting you know might be helpful.

My system: Win 7 (x64) Home Premium SP 1, i7 970 @ 3.2 GHz, 16 GB RAM

Thanks again for a great piece of software, nothing against other freeware VST hosts, but LP is easy on the eyes, easy to understand/configure, and most of all, STABLE!

Hi,

No joy. I moved it to a new folder "CygTest", followed the rest, still the same error. I'm just going to put put any Cygnus-related work to the side for now, no lives will be lost after all ;)
Thanks again for the help.

Yet another addendum to the request list, along with functional preset manager columns: having the window containing the drop-down list (audio routing, midi, snapshots, etc.)'s divider bar separating it from the vst's gui be resizable horizontally; in other words, to be able to drag-expand that window to the right, so that otherwise obscured text can be read.
some synth presets have long names and aren't pre-arranged by bass, lead, pad fx, etc. but do have the indicator at the end of the preset name, and having that nice long list readable all at once
is one of the features I love about LP, since not all plugins give a nice big plain-text-box option to view presets, and using a gui to click up or down one at a time might be more "realistic",
but not something people really miss about hardware, and feels like wasting time better spent. Sorry to write an essay instead of a reply, but developers want feedback from testers, right? ;)

Hi
It has to have something to to with filenames. I would suggest to "start over".
Move the plugin dll to a new folder.
Under help or options (don't remember exactly) there should be an option to open LP data folder.
Open this folder (you can also write %appdata% in explorer and open the liveprofessor folder)
Open the folder, close LP, delete the file plugins.xml.
Restart Liveprofessor, there should now be no plugins in any list.
Re scan for plugins, including the folder that you moved Cygnus to,...
See if it works..
Please try this and get back to me.

Hi nikolai,

Thank you for the fast response;
I tried your suggestion, and while it did remove it and appeared to rescan, it did not reappear on the plugin manager list.
It's still listed under the "Add unit" menu, but still gives the same error message, even after closing and restarting LP.

While I'm thinking about it, the columns in plugin manager are clickable but non-functional- it would be nice to view
the plugins by Status, I/O, Delay, etc.

Again, thanks!

Hi
That sounds like a file name error.
Try this:
In the plugin manager, right click on the plugin and click remove.
Click rescan.
Try to open the project
