i'm talking about computer code that is restricted, whether it is a relevant transport pool of cache or a non-relevant pool of transport layer.

it's like saying okay.. there are 1's and 0's going into the CPU
there are two ways to do it:
1. those 1's and 0's are from the vst plugin only
2. there are extra numbers in a sequence to keep the words in the sentence separated, and this means not only do you get the 1's and 0's from the vst plugin .. you also get the other numbers from the transport layer & that is how the CPU usage can increase without doing much.

Yes, correct, also the controller maps are reset, and reloading the (saved) map doesn't do the job to connect them again to my VST (Revitar in this case)

It's usually after a system restart, but even then, when both controllers (vortex and venom) stay usb connected, a program restart doesn't solve the prob.

Also, many times my ASIO sound starts getting glitches, it can only be helped by resetting via the preferences panel.]]> Presets not reset after tweak? I've posted it in an other topic also, but here's the resume, I think I've found what the problem is.
Every time I restart the LP, it switches MIDI (or even audio) input. This is in the controllers setup, and sometimes in the program setup also.

I have 2 USB input controllers:
- M-Audio Venom
- Vortex keytar

The M-audio has an asio interface, so that shouldbe the main. But it also has 3 midi input (Synth IN, Midi in, Venom IN)

Now, problem is when configured correct and I save the whole bunch and even with the snapshots, after a restart all the settings are wrong and this gives conflicts.
- The controller maps are set to different values (there are 5 midi IN ports available and LP chooses other everytime at restart)
- I cannot get my controller maps permanent, even after saving/reloading, I still need to configure it all again manually.

This all is pitty, because I had serious plans of giging with LP and buying the full version.
