Re: Liveprofessor2 VSTins

What's the benefit of this?

It makes sense with FL because FL has a built-in drum machine and transport timeline. But what would you automate with LP2? Channel volume? Isn't that what Rewire is for?

Re: Cue list window, follow recalled cue

I put a global snapshot in the cue. (Make sure 'Workspaces' isn't being filtered)

The cue will recall whatever you were looking at when you saved the snapshot.

Re: Programm Change

Yeah, it can be a problem to recall a Kontakt global snapshot in a live performance. Some Kontakt multis can take quite a while to load up. Here's a better way: Use the global snapshot filters to exclude the Kontakt plugin, so that snapshots will never mess with Kontakt. In Kontakt, put your instrum...

Re: Arm cues with global snapshots?

I guess. I don't use the 'Go Next' button because it cant be midi assigned. 'Fire Next Cue' only works if the 'Armed' button is set. That button can only be set by a mouse click. 'Step Down' only selects the next cue in a list. It doesn't fire it. (It appears to be the same command as 'Set as Next C...

Arm cues with global snapshots?

I'm really really hoping the next version handles arming cues differently. I want to hit 'Step Down' and trigger the next cue on the list. But the list has to be armed first with a mouse click! Ugh! This is the only thing preventing LP2 from being a hands-free controller. I can think of two easy fix...

Re: Fire Next Cue?

But the Step Down command doesn't work unless the list is armed.

Shouldn't it just go to the next cue on the list, regardless of arm state?

Or, is there a way to automatically arm everything?

It's soooo close to being hands-free!

Re: Fire Next Cue?

Step up and Step down commands Ah! Step Down. That's what I was looking for. (I had assumed that command would "step in" to the cue. I hadn't actually tried it!) Okay, now if I can just figure out how to automatically arm the cues, I'll be totally hands-free. The whole 'arming' thing has never been...

Fire Next Cue?

The only way to highlight the next cue is by right-clicking it, correct? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of midi controlling the Fire Next Cue command? Using a midi trigger to fire a cue that has be selected with a mouse click doesn't seem that useful. My problem is that if I midi trigger a cue, not...

Re: Splash screen covers window dialogs

I've since rebuilt my set and got it down to 2 minutes load time now. But the 4 minute loadtime set included: Two instances of Kontakt Two instances of NI Pro53 (bridged) Arturia Mini V (bridged) Arturia CS-80 V eSline solina (bridged) Arturia solina NI B4 (bridged) NastyVCS (bridged) NastyDLA (brid...

Re: Splash screen covers window dialogs

If I remember it was NI B4 (jbridged) that was complaining about sample rates and required an "okay" button push to continue. This doesn't happen to me anymore. But the splash screen covers everything. The entire system is unusable while LP2 loads simply because the 'loading' graphics wont go to the...

Re: Bypass vs processing

So disabling just blocks audio input to the plugin? Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but this leaves me wondering: When disabling,I should expect to see CPU savings on fx plugins (reverb etc.) that have audio inputs, but NOT necessarily in a soft synth that has no input? Would turning off midi...

Bypass vs processing

I'm not noticing much of a difference in the DSP meter between bypassing a plugin vs disabling processing.

Can you explain how LP2 handles bypassing? I prefer to use bypass because disabling processing often produces an audible click. But I'm looking for the best way to manage my cpu load.

Re: Splash screen covers window dialogs

Yes, the splash screen will go away. But then the "loading project" window appears. It covers up dialog windows from the other plugins as they load.
