Hello Nikolai,
the Beta 2.4.1 is being downloaded as I type this, eager to try it ^_^
I figured I'd ask something though.. The Input and Output gains of a plugin affect the signal coming through it regardless of the plugin's bypass state. Many a time that's exactly what I need, but many a time I need the exact opposite :o) for example I use a wah plugin on my guitar. I like it's sound well enough, but it's way too loud compared to the clean sound with the wah bypassed. As it stands now, I need to add a plugin like GVST's GFader after it, set it to around -12dB and have it's Bypass control bound to the same HW Controller button as bypasses the Wah. It's not a big deal, but it makes for a lot of clutter around which could be kept out..
Any ideas on this? I wouldn't like to have to turn them plugins on and off instead of bypassing, just doesn't seem the right way to me (though that way it does work the other way around). The most elegant solution I can think of is a separate control like "Bypassed level" on the plugin, with the Input and Output gain taking action only when not bypassed.. what do you think? :o) |

Also, like I posted before, I'm having problems binding buttons to input / output gain knobs - I'd like to have the button toggle the input gain of a reverb unit between -inf. and some arbitrary level, but no matter what the knob always gives momentary behaviour.. any hope of this getting fixed? :o) is it even a bug? :o.

What kind of midi messages does the controller send? like "On: Controller 12 value 127, of Controller 12 Value 0"

This sounds like a clever feature, need to figure out how to do it elegantly, not sure I want a separate gain knob, maybe a drop down under the knobs with bypass trim..? |

well I suppose it goes like you said.. The controller could be configured easily to toggle between the min and max values on every press of the button, but I'd like to keep the behaviour as it is, because it's a kind of universal setup which easily allows me to bind multiple controller maps to the same buttons and just swap the controller maps to activate only the one I need at a time.

yes, that would be a very nice way to do it! but then the in/out gain would need to be "inside" the bypass circuit, so that they only take effect when the plugin is not bypassed. I guess that would be not a very backwards-compatible change to some of the others' projects.. well, I know you'll figure it out! :o)
