Users have reported that these devices work good with LiveProfessor
(We don't say that they work with your computer, only that they are reported to be stable and have low latency).
Also note that we have no reports of any ASIO soundcards NOT working with LiveProfessor

Using a propper sound device is much, much better then using ASIO4ALL or similar.

I want to add that once I fixed my wifi interference issue, I'm running 512 buffer @ 96k resulting in 5.5 ms, very stable on the ProFire 2626.

Confirming:
Tascam US-1641 16x4 USB 2.0 Audio/MIDI interface.

Configuration:
Acer Aspire 7740 Laptop w/Intel i330M 2.13GHz quad-core processor, 4GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (64-bit)
Tascam 64-bit driver version 2.01 set to "lowest latency"

Reported Latency (LP=>Options=>ASIO Setup) 1.1ms!

Initially tested using Korg M1Le, 8x2 mixer and TAL-VOCODER. Carrier signal is M1Le outputs 1 & 2 summed using 8x2 mixer and fed to TAL-VOCODER input 1, modulated using live microphone on interface mic input 1 routed to input 2.

IMO, call Carson at Sweetwater Sound (1-800-222-4700 x1302) today and order one of these things! Tell him I sent you! Best $300 I've spent in a while! (Best $700 I've spent recently was the place I took my motorcycle for an overhaul a couple of weeks ago. It's never run so well! But, that's another story)

The Behringer Guitar Link UCG102 works really well with Live Professor. A really great quick guitar interface for very little money. By the way. I love Live Professor. Its exactly what I was looking for.

LiveProfessor 2.03 with M-Audio Firewire Audiophile works with error message by opening (sometimes) and closing (allways)the project. In case opening without error message LiveProfessor works well, in case opening with error message I must restart LP and try open again...
Any suggestion? (I´m sorry for my bad english...)

Ok so, when you use this sound card you sometimes get a error message (Guessing "Access violation in module blablabla") When you open a project and always when closing.
Does this happen only when using this sound card?

When I use integrate sound card (diconnected M-Audio, without ASIO), I get error message "Access violation in module blablabla", e.g. by setting audio out by VST instrumet. With diconnected M-Audio sound card and by using ASIO4All it seems to be all OK. In case I want use M-Audio with his asio driver, I get error message - no "Access violation...", but only "The application has encountered a problem and needs to close..."
Thanks for your great software.

Confirm on M-Audio FastTrack Pro and Delta 1010LT :o)

Anyone with any experience with the Roland OctaCapture? That would be my next it seems so far... 8x8 over USB, the monitoring options are superb and (most importantly) it is said to run flawlessly with buffers as low as 48 samples full duplex!! now that'd be a wow.

Studio rig: Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo Pi / Intel Core2Quad 2.4Ghz / 4GB DDR II RAM / M-Audio Delta 1010LT / Yamaha HS50-M / Reaper
Live rig: Dell D830 / Intel Core2Duo 2.4Ghz / 4GB DDR II RAM / M-Audio Fast Track Pro / E-MU X-board49 eXtended (see my blog) / Yamaha MFC10 / AKG K272 HD / LiveProfessor

As you can see here:
http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UCG102.aspx
The UCG does support lo latency asio drivers. (but not the UCA) Your only option is to use ASIO4All, and enable the UCA in the asio4all control panel.

Well thanx again nikolai ! Your option of enabling UCA in the asio4all control panel is a first one for me ! So if there is a
photo or tutorial on how to setup the UCA inside asio4all, i will really thank you for it in advanced ! Anyways i will think of buying maybe the UCG much later but for now i am stuck with the UCA usb thingy !! LOL

You ROCK !!! nikolai !!!

Hello,

I have been using the Behringer ADA-8000 for years now and they are just great!

Along with that I have the RME HDSP 9652 audio card - and again, great stuff!

Using ADAT to connect the two together.

I have a Presonu 1818vsl linked via ADAT to a Behringer ADA8000. Although I've had this working with all 18 inputs available in LP, it recently started not activating more than 4 channels from the ASIO setup page in Audio Options. It does see all 18 inputs but only 4 are active. Not sure what I've done but I can't figure out how to get all the inputs active again. I try checking the boxes but nothing happens when there are already 4 inputs selected. I'm pretty sure I have my 1818vsl and Behringer units setup and sync'd correctly. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong or any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I would test each unit individually. If they work individually - but NOT together - the you know that the problems lies between them.

Hope this helps?
