license file vs license code

Hi Forum,

after long time decided to play the keyboard again.
was just wondering...
I downloaded the MAC version(swapped from windows to OSX) of live professor 2 to my MacBook Pro but it is asking for a license file?
All I have in my email is a lifetime license code...

somebody can help me here?
